About us

Geffery's Hall Community Centre is managed by local registered charity CEYP.

We work with residents and tenants to develop new community opportunities and activities. We generate
income through grants, donations, fundraising and by renting out space to other not for profit organisation.

All income is used to provide services which benefit local residents and tenants.

Some examples of what we do are:
  • community lunches
  • school holiday programmes
  • social activities & events
  • targeted programmes
  • community meetings
CEYP welcomes your comments, suggestions and feedback about what services are needed locally.

We would love you to become actively involved - as a service user, volunteer or as a 'Friend of Geffery's Hall'.

What's on in April 2025

Tuesdays
Help us us for an hour on Tuesday afternoons between 2.00pm - 3.00pm as we turn an unused corner of the estate into a community garden for the benefit of everyone.  

You would be involved in light gardening activities including weeding and planting. Green fingers not necessary!  Please contact info@ceyp.org if you would like to join us
Tuesdays
Clarion LiveSmart residents are invited to join Lynne between 10.00am and 12 noon for a cup of tea (or coffee) and a chat
Thursdays
Join us for a free Light Lunch.  During this cold weather this will unlimited bowls of soup, a roll and a drink between 12.00 - 1.30 every Thursday.

Take part in our just for fun quiz and improve your general knowledge. 
Everyone welcome. Just pop in, booking not needed 
Thursdays
Free arts & crafts after school club every Thursday between 4.00pm - 6.00pm during term time. 

Everyone aged 6-12 welcome but registration needed so please bring your parent or guardian with you on your first visit
Thursdays
Painful joints? Want to improve your fitness?  Why not join our free Over 50's seated exercise group

Thursdays between 2.30pm-3.30pm.  

Booking not necessary, we look forward to you joining us

We're always on the look out for more local people who can spare a few hours each week to volunteer with us. Perhaps you'd like to help out in our community cafe, or start a parent & toddler stay and play group? Maybe you've got a hobby, skill or interest you'd like to share or pass on to others?
